Boardroom furniture can go back, but only before it is assembled — once the legs are bolted on, the top has been handled and we cannot resell it. You have 7 days from delivery to return an unused item to Velvora Archive, and a faster 48-hour route if it arrived faulty.

The window

Start a return within 7 days of the delivery date. Items faulty on arrival follow the 48-hour rule below instead of this window.

What can come back

Unassembled units in their original cartons, with all fixings, foam and edge protection present, plus the invoice. A repacked box missing its corner protection will not survive the return trip, so we cannot take it.

What cannot come back

  • Anything assembled, part-assembled or drilled.
  • Tables cut, drilled for cable ports or finished to your specification.
  • Clearance stock and ex-display units.

None of these exceptions apply where the item arrived damaged or defective.

Damaged, defective, wrong or missing on arrival

Record an unboxing video as you open the parcel and email that video within 48 hours of delivery if a top arrives chipped, a leg thread is stripped, a power module is dead on arrival, we sent the wrong item, or something is missing. That clip is the only evidence we need: free replacement or a full refund, and no return postage from you.

Opening a return

Email [email protected] with your order number and one line about what went wrong, from the address you ordered with. A person replies, usually within one working day, and arranges the collection or the replacement.

Return postage

If the fault is ours — damaged, defective, wrong item, missing item — we cover it entirely. If you changed your mind, you arrange and pay the return journey, and we confirm exactly where to send it before you post anything.

Getting your money back

Once the item is back with us and checked, approved refunds are processed within 12 business days. UPI payments return to the same UPI account; Cash on Delivery orders are refunded by bank transfer once you share the details. You get an email as the refund leaves us.

Swaps

Wrong size or wrong finish? Say so in the same email and we will exchange rather than refund where stock allows, settling the price difference either way.
